Nigro Construction Is Building Mountain West Industrial Park
Nigro Construction is Building Mountain West Industrial Park and Prepares to Stand Phase One Buildings.
Longtime Las Vegas contractor Nigro Construction was awarded the contract to build Mountain West Industrial Park by owner Jonathan Schwartz in the rapidly developing southwest part of Las Vegas.
Last summer, Nigro Construction broke ground on the 252,900-square-foot industrial warehouse project located at 7210 W. Post Road. Phase one consists of three industrial grey shell buildings on 16.5 acres and is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2021.
Crews will begin titling up buildings two and three in the project’s first phase during the week of March 22. Tilt-wall construction combines the strength and durability of reinforced concrete with precision and efficiency. The walls will be hoisted into place by a crane, and depending on the size of the wall, each panel can take up to two hours to raise.
Phase two encompasses an additional 45,000 square feet of industrial space on the remaining acres of the property.
Phase one units range from 6,400 square feet to 71,500 square feet and will feature 30-foot minimum clearance heights in the warehouse, among other features such as 10-foot glass storefront office entries and metal canopies for a modern look.
“The Las Vegas industrial market remains very healthy, and we’re thrilled to work with Jonathan and his team to develop a project that will meet market demands,” said Mike Nigro, president of Nigro Construction. “On behalf of the owner, we’re constructing these buildings to anticipate diverse tenant needs.”
